I have pip3 installed (I did pip3 --version), but it says I don't. This is the error that it gives me in the Speech-To-Text menu.

Cannot find pip3, please install it on your system.
If already installed, check it is installed in a directory listed in PATH environment variable

What commands do I need to do for this to work.
System info: Kubuntu 22.04 LTS
I am installing on flatpak.

You probably have pip installed on your system and it is probably not installed inside the Flatpak. Maybe we are missing some Python dependencies for speech-to-text support?

that is probably why. I have no idea how else this could be.

Please update Kdenlive, this should be fixed. Feel free to reopen if not.

This is a recurring issue, because the new ai subtitle generator needs pip3 and turbo and it doesn't exist or could not download.

I've made some screenshots here

This will be fixed in the next major release 25.04. you can already try it in the nightly Flatpak version.

Note to fellow packagers: we should drop the Python packages from the manifest with 25.04 and let Kdenlive handle everything.
