Fleet version: @noahtalerman: Observed by customer-preston. Not sure what version they're running.

πŸ’₯ Β Actual behavior

For a customer in France, they added licenses for Tik Tok in their Apple

πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» Β Steps to reproduce

  1. Stand up a Apple Business Manager instance that has Tik Tok
  2. Connect this ABM to Fleet
  3. Purchase some licenses for Tik Tok
  4. Head to Software > Add software > App Store (VPP). See that Tik Tok doesn't show up as an app that you can add.

πŸ•―οΈ More info (optional)

More info in Slack here.

To fix

Currently, Fleet can't debug this. Here are next steps to help us debug:

Ask customer-preston to share an Apple Business Manager (ABM) token and Volume Purchasing Program (VPP) token from France with us:

  1. In ABM, select Locations > Add and create a "Fleet-debug" location using a French address.

  2. Select your avatar > Settings > Add next to "Your MDM Servers" and ad a "Fleet-debug" MDM server using the new "Fleet-debug" location.

  3. Download the server token for this "Fleet-debug" MDM server and send the token to the Fleet team.

  4. Select your avatar > Settings > Payments and Billing and under Content Tokens, select download next to the new "Fleet-debug" location to download the VPP token. Send the token to the Fleet team.

Note: we can't reproduce this with our dogfood ABM org, because it's based in the USA and TikTok is currently unavailable on the USA App Store (validated this yesterday).

Having an additional ABM org that's based somewhere not in the USA would be ideal for testing around this issue!

@pintomi1989 I passed this bug to you because we would like some help from customer-preston (see above). Can you please share these instructions with preston?

@jahzielv please let us know if any part of these instructions is wrong.

@noahtalerman I think we might need some steps for getting the VPP token as well.

  1. Log into ABM
  2. Click "Preferences" in the bottom left
  3. Click "Payments and billing"
  4. Download the token under "Content Tokens"

Hey @noahtalerman - I made customer-preston aware of this ask, and they said they will test
