Introduction

The website is generated from a collection of YAML files. Each reference is placed in a file according to the year of its publication and has a unique identifier associated with it.

Details

Each entry has a corresponding unique identifier. Currently we are using version 4 UUIDs as defined in RFC 4122 and as implemented in the Python standard library module uuid.

Some keys must take only one of a fixed set of possible values (so, can be thought of as an enumeration). Any such keys are listed below, and possible values are defined. Comments, if any, are given after : following the value.

  • type:

    • article: as in a journal
    • conference paper

  • status:

    • first: the unique first place where the specification language was defined.
    • properties: proves properties about the specification language, but did not introduce it.
