Feature request: support for M2M Interface with List dropdown

Great extension! I was wondering if it's possible or planned to add support for a Many to Many (M2) interface with a List layout so we can use Categories that are defined as M2M:

The https://github.com/directus-labs/extensions/tree/main/packages/spreadsheet-layout extension also does not support it, so it's probably complicated?
