Expected behavior.

Actual behavior.
When pasting from Word and selecting "Clean," the previously pasted text is not removed. Instead, new pasted content continues to append to the existing text rather than replacing it with a cleaned version.

Steps to reproduce the problem.

• Copy a paragraph of text from a Word document.
• Paste the text into the editor.
• Select the "Clean" option.
• Copy a different paragraph from Word.
• Paste the new text into the editor.
• Observe that the old pasted text remains, and the new text is appended instead of replacing it with a cleaned version.
