Hi there, GeckoLinux STATIC will be updated after the openSUSE Leap 15.3 release. One of the reasons is that the Packman repository for multimedia codecs and non-free drivers is still incomplete for 15.3. |

greetings...opensuse leap 15.3 was released june 2nd. any guesstimate of release date of geckolinux static 15.3? on another note...not sure if relevant here, if not, apologies...i plan on switching to static version from rolling. why? the weekly rolling updates, snapshots take over an hour to install, upgrade on my old (> 14yrs) computer. computer & gecko runs fine using xfce and added openbox & e16. thoughts? suggestions? thank you for a wonderful spin. peace...cheers |

I recently discovered your distro. I appreciate this is not an independent fork, but rather a respin of openSUSE. 15.3 is currently at the RC (release candidate) stage. Can we expect a beta of Gecko Linux soon, or do you plan to wait until after the 15.3 release?
