Pantheon edition

I noticed theres no pantheon edition on the website. I found a download from sourceforge. Is there a reason?

Is it not considered stable enough? Maybe cause next major version of Elementary is right around the corner?

Thanks. But does this mean that it is not recommended to run the pantheon edition anymore? I updated fine, but if there's fears of the thing breaking any moment it couldn't really be used for a daily driver.

I wouldn't recommend it for now, unless I see more activity on the Pantheon OBS repo:

That's why the two GeckoLinux Pantheon editions were labeled as NEXT and ROLLING-OBS, because Pantheon comes from a semi-official repo with no guarantees.

This is very sad - the GeckoLinux approach is an ideal match for Pantheon vs the current dev cycle of elementary OS. I've had a terrible time with some clients who wanted and use elementary OS regularly, but have literally refused upgrades for several years. It's frustrating that they don't offer a clean upgrade path/cycle and thus GeckoLinux's approach is infinitely superior.

Muy buena tarde, que estén bien.

Me encanta GeckoLinux, y lo que es muy muy bueno es la cantidad de entornos de escritorio disponibles.

El escritorio Phanteon es muy elegante es una lastima que no este disponible actualmente. Un entorno igualmente bueno es Deepin quizá en un futuro esté disponible.

Actualmente utilizo Budgie y es excelente y muy rápido. Y voy a experimentar un poco con Gnome y KDE Plasma.

Sí esperemos que se reactive el desarrollo de Pantheon para openSUSE en un futuro. Hasta mientras, todavía se puede descargar e instalar la última versión de GeckoLinux Pantheon y actualizar el resto del sistema, simplemente el entorno de Pantheon se mantiene estático:
