Default packages for running KDE on Gnome spin (Tumbleweed) #267
-
I installed the Gnome version, but I want to try out KDE. I installed pattern-kde-kde package but there seems to be quite a lot of inconsistencies in the environment (weird themes for applications, missing dolphin, etc). I suspect I havent installed all the necessary packages. What are the default KDE related packages installed in the official KDE spin ? |

This might help, especially take a look at the patterns they use: In general, I wouldn't recommend mixing multiple desktop environments, and especially not Gnome and KDE, which each work best with their own login manager (GDM and SDDM respectively). |
