After changing Language to French : I have double Folder in User : English Folder & French Folder and it is not the same it contains diffrents files & Folders : Images Folder & Pictures Folder and so on

Can you help me ?
PS : I have a real Root and User ( separate passwords )

1- it seems OK except special chars ( fr_CH is installed from yast2 )

2- LogOff / LogOn again ... and it becomes English again !

Yast2 is not running correctly : It says root configuration does not exists. snapper iis probably not configured and yast2 failes and yast2 closes.

But if I run directly as root yast2 and ask for language as root yast2 is different :

Sorry for my slow response. So, step by step:

At the end of the GeckoLinux Language Installer script the Snapper error is simply because you're not using Btrfs. It's just a harmless informational message.

Regarding the tildes in Téléchargements and Vidéos I'm not seeing that issue for some reason:

Also, after the first prompt to change the folder names to French it has stayed that way and not asked me again.

The duplicated folders (like Desktop / Bureau and Downloads / Téléchargements) happen because there are files inside them. So just transfer any files from the English folder to the French folder and then delete the English folder.

Maybe try manually changing the names of the folders with the corrupted tildes, but if that doesn't work you might also try this in YaST Language:

Also make sure that the language/country combination is the same in the login screen and in the YaST Language details, for example fr_FR or fr_CH, it appears you're using the Swiss variant?

I think you are confusing the "Languages" tab of YaST Software (for installing language packages) with the main YaST Languages module (shown above, for setting the system language).

It also looks like your language packages didn't install correctly, which is why the system still has English elements. There is currently a problem with the pipewire-lang package that is preventing it from installing the other language packages. To work around this, please install pipewire-lang and use the #2 option to install it with broken dependencies. Then run the Language Installer script again. Then install additional language support packages in the YaST Software > Languages tab, and then reboot. That will give you an almost fully translated desktop:

Tanks for reply effectivly my folders were not empty because when the distro installation is finished, I restart prevent sleep mode and paste some .rpm + 2 *.sh ( one scripts of 1857 words for full installation ( dev, video, games, browsers )+ another scripts of 75 words for Citrix Workspace then auto-update and shutdow ) it runs all the night and the next morning I have ~50 to 67 Go installed on root.

The next Time I will run language-installer.sh and the reboot... And paste the files then run my scripts...
You helped me a lot I simply killed the Failed User and recrated it It is OK Now !!!
