Hi there, sorry for the trouble. Especially if it happens in other distros too it's probably an upstream issue that would have to be fixed by the developers, and the distributor can't really fix it. |

By developers, you mean Debian, Redhat etc. headquarters? |

Guess us end users can't be expected to know just how complex this is. At least what you say can reassure me that it's not just in my head! |

Just tried MATE "rolling" and the issue persists. Running out of options here... The only desktops i like are KDE, XFCE and MATE. KDE is no.1 tho. Better luck next time, i guess. |

Testing KDE Neon 20221011 and it has Pulse Audio. No hics or stuttering here either. |

Gecko Linux is probably the nicest and snappiest distro to work with my DELL Latitude E5430.
Unfortunately, as it occasionally happens with other distros i've tried, i get momentary hicks of silence when listening to Youtube videos.
For example (but not the only one): have tried MX XFCE and it does it there, while it does not on its KDE iteration.
Just trying to find out what can be the problem?
The laptop specs?
-(have an inclination to use Vivaldi - nice to see it available by default in MX and Titan toolbox and FerenOS and...)
