Ouch, that's pretty bad. Hopefully openSUSE will come up with a fix sooner rather than later. |

I've just found a solution, but it may not work in every case. All this was in Mint; I reinstalled Firefox after having deleted it the first time, and then tried to start it up again - same problem. I then hard deleted the profile in my home folder and tried once again, and this time it did start and worked well. |

After running a zypper in Gecko rolling a few days back Firefox crashed immediately on launching . . . seems like it has hit a number of users and so far doesn't seem like the devs have figured out how to fix the problem in OpenSUSE . . . . Downloading from the Firefox site seems to be the fix right now???
