How we select the test cases for the second research questions

The following sections explain how we select the system test cases subset to prompt the different models.

How we calculate the levenshtein distance

To select the test cases to provide the LLM we employ the Levenshtein distance with their coverage matrix over the user requirements.The formula used to calculate these distance is:

Function Levenshtein(s1 As String, s2 As String) As Integer
    Dim i As Integer, j As Integer
    Dim d() As Integer
    Dim cost As Integer
    Dim lenS1 As Integer, lenS2 As Integer

    lenS1 = Len(s1)
    lenS2 = Len(s2)
    ReDim d(0 To lenS1, 0 To lenS2)

    For i = 0 To lenS1
        d(i, 0) = i
    Next i

    For j = 0 To lenS2
        d(0, j) = j
    Next j

    For i = 1 To lenS1
        For j = 1 To lenS2
            If Mid(s1, i, 1) = Mid(s2, j, 1) Then
                cost = 0
            Else
                cost = 1
            End If

            d(i, j) = Application.Min(d(i - 1, j) + 1, _
                                      d(i, j - 1) + 1, _
                                      d(i - 1, j - 1) + cost)
        Next j
    Next i

    Levenshtein = d(lenS1, lenS2)
End Function

Levenshtein distance matrix

The matrix with the different Levenshtein distance is the following, in the columns are presented the scenarios and in the rows the different test cases
