Problem description

Highlight hot key not working in macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and Anki 2.1.35 (84dcaa86)

Checklist

  • I've restarted Anki to see if it helps
  • I've verified that I use the latest version of the add-on by redownloading it from AnkiWeb
  • I've verified that I use the latest version of Anki by checking at https://apps.ankiweb.net#download

  • My issue disappears when I hold shift while starting Anki.

Hey @apurvapopat95,

Thanks a bunch for the detailed report! This looks to be the same issue as in #22. But just to confirm, do you only see this issue when you are in the card browser, or do you also see it when you are adding cards (i.e. you freshly start Anki, and then click on the "Add" link at the top of the main screen, no browser window open).
