Microsoft 365 Exchange Online will remove SMTP basic auth later this year. This means, if I read the documentation correctly, that we cannot send mail through Exchange Online anymore when that happens.

SMTP OAuth2 is fully supported and preferred for Office 365, but it is not implemented in Authentik as far as I can see in the documentation.
