We need some way to check if the cells are short or long range. We've deployed a bunch of both types and are now when hubs have problems we are unsure if they might be interference or range issues. Is it possible to ask the hubs what type of xbee they have in addition to their xbee id? Perhaps there is a setting that we can query that is different between the two?

There might be a pattern in the IDs themselves, you could try looking at some known ones and see if anything jumps out, or just ask Digi.

If not, it can be queried, but only while they're awake, so it's tricky.

Okay cool, I'll ask Digi and update this issue when I have answers.
