Right now, everything about the app (source code + data) is implicity (in our own heads) under the Creative Commons. We really need a proper, visible license (so the absence of one qualifies as a bug).
We just need to put formal license documents in appropriate locations (repos, + on the app itself). At the same time we should be crediting people (like taxbills.nyc) more visibly if they want to be credited.

As to crediting taxbills.nyc, the maintainer says "RE attribution, feel free to mention my name. A link to the GitHub is a must and the blog post about stabilization would be nice, if you think it's not confusing."
