I don't know, I started using Hyprland only recently

Description

I don't want the relative cursor position to determine tiling direction, so I have smart_resizing set to false. However, it is still clear that when my mouse cursor hovers over the focused window, the new window is always split in that up/down or left/right direction.

The split direction is consistent when my cursor is not on top of the focused window, however.

How to reproduce

  1. smart_resizing = off in master variables
  2. the feature is still on

Attach not paste

  • I understand that all text files must be attached, and not pasted directly. If not respected, this issue will likely get closed as spam
