the second to last sentence in section 3.3 of the spec says

If is an empty string, the MIME type MUST default to "text/gemini; charset=utf-8".

currently kristall is interpreting it as "/" and giving an error.

"20\r\n" error afaict
"20 \r\n" text/gemini; charset=utf-8
