Do I need to use proxies?

I apologize if I'm asking obvious questions. Do I need to use proxies (static or rotating) to download videos from YouTube? Or if I have, for example, 20 Google accounts (cookies + PO Tokens generated by BgUtils), will that be enough? And how many accounts should I have to have for stable site functioning? Thanks in advance!
