Project Description

  • your decision context is strong, and I like how you've honed in on one target audience.
  • I feel like you kind of jumped into some higher level negative impacts of your analysis.
  • "What time of night would be the safest for me to travel?" <-- maybe generalize this to time broadly?
  • if you are going to focus at night time, then change the way you are presenting your proposal
  • "Our last subgoal would be how would we optimize the following aspects when considering a route: Safety, Cost, Time, and Accessibility or Convenience?" <-- I feel like this is more of a technical description or way of approaching modeling.
  • "create an application" <-- maybe outside of the scope of this class?

Technical Description

  • You addressed the previous issue I had, so maybe move introducing the idea to here.
  • I think you've well explored the potential data sources, and hurdles you will have to face.
  • Maybe look to other places and see if you can apply different data to this same place?
  • Explore research that's already been done in this problem space?

Logistics

  • Your due dates are clear, but maybe include some time for modeling
  • Good idea for putting a visualization milestone in so you have some visual progress of what you've done.
