It sounds like your 370 project is going to be a lot of work with building an app and all. Are you already familiar with working with these APIs and do you know how you would be able to use them in conjunction with your data? Perhaps you should consider other stopping points, like making your own API for other people to work on top of.

With a 60 day log, it seems like you would be making a more static map that might not account for things like the timing of incidents and other environmental factors.

Maybe you would find it interesting to use Twitter data and identify dangerous places in a more dynamic and real time way.
