• as you mentioned, a large scope requires sub goals in case you don't complete the initial plan, maybe elaborate on exactly what the deliverables for subgoals would be
• "Safety, Cost, Time, and Accessibility or Convenience?" If you don't have enough time to complete all of these optimizations, I suggest narrowing down to which optimizations are most feasible

Techical Description:
well planned, ensure that you work with the pathfinding API well before due date perhaps to determine feasibility in 4 to 5 weeks if you continue with your scope

Logistics:

• tasks and due dates, if you decide to go with your preliminary analysis instead of full scope, add additional components that you can complete between the preliminary analysis time and the due date, to add some more complexity but not all the way to your full scope
