I searched previous Issues didn't find any similar feature requests.
I am only requesting a single feature. Multiple changes should be split into individual requests, with links between them.
I believe my requested feature will be generally applicable to other users, not just me: it is not uniquely tied to my personal workflow.
🔖 Feature description
Day Planner Settings Option:
Boolean/checkbox, default unchecked: "Use a Dataview time span format for Start and End time, instead of pre-pended text field time stamped range (or however you refer to the current method)."
Simply put, optionally leave the Tasks' text label alone, and insert inline properties instead, similar to Full Calendar's "[startTime:: 18:00] [endTime:: 22:30]" and the Tasks plugin's Dataview Format, which happens to get used for other fields that Day Planner saves.
Good reasons to add the option:
It's opt-in, so you are not going to break anyone's vault with the alternate time span format
Pre-pending the time span text really clutters up every other view of the tasks, every list of tasks in a project, scheduled tasks mixed with unscheduled tasks, every file with tasks...
Having the time stamps in properties makes the data a little bit easier to use outside of Day Planner
This meshes much more cleanly with other plugins and greatly de-clutters any tasks block, dataview table, or any other generated table of Tasks/TODOs, Task outlines for projects, and so on.
Tagged tasks get the #tag back to the beginning of the line where it is most readable and manually sortable.
Pre-pended text time span uses quite a bit of smartphone screen real estate, on every view of the task, even views that have nothing to do with schedule.

❓ Alternatives
I have been using the base functionality from the Tasks plugin, but arranging the day to day schedule with Day Planner is MUCH better, while also only complementing functionality from Tasks, and vice versa, nice clean interop between them. And can also clock in/out of any scheduled task so I can get a running total of ACTUAL time spent on a specific task when I need to refine my time estimation skills, or simply track how much time I spend watching youtube in a week.
So many ways to use this plugin in various workflows, but there are a few rough edges that would be beneficial to trim, like the pre-pended text timespan.
Like many people, I have tasks, personal todo's, ordered dependency task outlines for projects, random thought TODOs, appointment event tasks, etc all over the place in my vault, and use queries to keep everything easy to read and track.
Being able to schedule and reschedule tasks by simply dragging them around with Day Planner is awesome! And existing tasks get updated in-place wherever they are in my vault. Awesome!
📝 Additional Context
Thanks for all the hard work that went into this plugin!

Clarification:
The intended dataview style timespans is primarily for "Task" type elements, but can also apply to "Bullet"/list type elements, although I suppose you could optionally use dataview style timespans for either. Perhaps having separate option for either format would make sense.
I currently use "Bullet (-New item)" for "Event format on creation" so I can quickly just single click on the Timeline, and it quickly generates a time stamped Non-Task entry in my daily note so I can capture mundane data like when I set my alarm and when I actually get up or eat meals, etc, and this data does not pollute my Real Tasks and Todo's. The combo works great!
Optionally rewriting old style entries to new ones would be nice. I'm currently refactoring my old Tasks from Emoji to dataview format, would be nice if this was an automatic or streamlined activity.
