Zim archivist custom tool

The problem:

If you keeps links to websites (blogs...) in your zim notes, you can be disappointed to have broken links because the webmaster deleted the page, closed the website...

A solution:

Have a look to webcache like google or http://wayback.archive.org But your page might not be archived by this external service.

The idea:

Backup websites on your disk. This is done by the script. Before, you had

Look at this awesome website: http://my-website.42 

and after:

Look at this awesome website: http://my-website.42 (Archive)

Clinking on Archive will open the page in your browser from your cache.
