I've observed many JLPT Anki decks only have flashcards with the Japanese expression on the front, no cards with English on the front.
For my own personal preference I'd rather have the reverse English cards as well, to help improve my recall.
This works well, however the N1, N2, N3 decks have a large amount of vocab. Having decks with over 4000 cards may make them unproductive for users.
I'd love to hear more thoughts and opinions on this?
