If you want we can integrate the major features from springfox-loader into a new sub-project in springfox? Do you think that could be the way forward?

Thanks for adding me @jarlehansen! I'm just out of releasing a big update to springfox, so I don't have the energy immediately to contribute. But I do have some ideas that I can articulate here perhaps. We can work on it together for sure.

I was going to create a springboot starter library and the idea i had was similar. Thats why I was excited when I saw the intent of this library. Sorry I haven't had a chance to dig in completely into the library, but Im sure we could leverage the ideas here.
