Interactions in the model section

What OS are you seeing the problem on?

Windows 11

Bug Description

I was trying to create interactions in the meta-analysis. It worked for one interaction but it does not anymore. If I now erase that interaction and then try to do it again it will show Error: Non-existent coefficients specified via 'btt'

Expected Behaviour

Should let me do the interactions

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to model in the meta-analysis
  2. choose the interaction
  3. apply
  4. bug will show
    ...

Final Checklist

  • I have included a screenshot showcasing the issue, if possible.
  • I have included a JASP file (zipped) or data file that causes the crash/bug, if applicable.
  • I have accurately described the bug, and steps to reproduce it.

thx for the report. I cannot replicate the error, see:

Can you share your data by renaming to zip and drag and drop here?
Maybe you have some missings or otherwise unconventional data.

maybe you just need to change your "weaning age weeks" var to scale and refresh?

I can confirm the error. Maybe the interaction of milkType * Category has to many empty cells? See:

Here the jasp file (renamed) to replicate the error:

meta.jasp.zip

But also the effect size "daily weight gain" seems suspicious. Isn't it a requirement to use standardized effect sizes here like cohens d or pearsons r?

Never mind. I just read in the jasp help file of the "effect size computation" module that you also can input unstandardized effect sizes like mean differences. If jasp later on can standardize this within the main module meta analysis - I do not know. But it sounds probable.
