Following extract is from the minutes of the Feb 24, 2004 EG
conference call:

b. support for mixed content

  • not a lot of use cases for supporting mixed content
  • one possibility is to introduce a customization to customize
a String property to be text. I believe suggested by Keith
    Visco.
  • issue: how to handle adjacent text strings
  • another possibility: no support for mixed content; document
produced by JAXB can be processed by an external tool such as
    XSLT.

So should customization of a mapping a Java class to mixed content be
supported ?

Environment

Operating System: All
Platform: All
