How to bind F-key for some action hotkeys? I've tried L-F2 and L-F3 for incrementing and decrementing sound volume but it didn't work

If you are using a laptop, it is likely that by default you have activated XF86-Keys, then the right thing would be to use FN before any F-Keys to activate all F-Keys
