This article describes how to install the products listed at the beginning of
this article to run from the hard disk.

To install the products listed at the beginning of this article to run from the
hard disk:

1. Insert the program CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. Press and hold down the
  SHIFT key as you insert the CD-ROM to prevent Setup from starting
  automatically.

2. Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.

3. Right-click the CD-ROM drive that contains the program CD-ROM, and then click
  Explore.

4. On the Edit menu, click Select All.

5. On the Edit menu, click Copy.

6. Quit Windows Explorer.

7. Double-click the icon of a hard disk with a minimum of 800 megabytes (MB) of
  free space for MapPoint 2000 or a minimum of 1100 MB of free space for
  Expedia Streets & Trips 2000.

8. On the File menu, point to New, and then click Folder.

9. Type a name for the new folder, and then press ENTER.

10. Double-click the folder you created in steps 8-9.

11. On the Edit menu, click Paste.

  If you are installing Expedia Streets & Trips 2000 to run from the hard
  disk:

  a. Eject the Expedia Streets & Trips 2000 Disc 1 CD-ROM, and then insert
     the Expedia Streets & Trips 2000 Disc 2 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
     Press and hold down the SHIFT key as you insert the CD-ROM to prevent
     Setup from starting automatically.

  b. Repeat steps 2-6 to copy the contents of the Expedia Streets & Trips
     2000 Disc 2 CD-ROM.

  c. On the Edit menu in the folder you created in steps 8-9, click Paste. When
     you are prompted to overwrite files, click "Yes to All".

12. Double-click the Setup.exe file.

13. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the program.
