I thought of an integration with the popular calendars (Google, Outlook, Calendly..).
Why?
Theoretically, I could use any of the calendars as a to-do list (I have used Google calendar as a shopping list, for example). That way, I have my daily schedule, as well as my to-do list and notes in the same place. But I'd like to reverse-integrate and use Rocketlog for this.
How?
Pull in the daily events from the calendar, and add them to Rocketlog for those days. Thus, when I open Rocketlog, I will see my to-do list, as well as the events for that day. That way, I don't need to have to look at different places for an overview of things to do for the day.
Even better, if events from different calendars can be pulled in. That's a lot more value added, not having to go to different calendars, to plan for the day.
What then?
I am not entirely clear on what would happen to those events later - like, if an event was pulled in for yesterday, and it has passed now, do you: 1) Delete it from rocketlog; 2) Mark it as "done"; 3) Do nothing, and leave it to the person to mark it, move it, delete it, etc.? I, personally, favour marking it as "done", which can be reversed, if needed.
I think this not only sits well with the daily to-do list concept of Rocketlog, but also echoes the "future log" feature. If this was rolled out, and there was a full-screen phone widget for Rocketlog, I would smack it on the phone and forget about all other "planners".
