<h2>3D Rendering Software</h2>
<p>
In this project I decided to explore the challanges of computer graphics by developing a 3D renderer
from scratch using Rust.
No external graphics APIs are used, as drawing algorithms are implemented and shown in the screen using
SDL2 that offers low-level access to the video buffer. The main goal of the project is to get expertise
with 3D computer graphics that is at the core of Game Development. In particular, vector mathematics,
polygon rasterization techniques, perspective projections and texture mapping.
<ul>
<li>Rust is not an Object Oriented Programming language: this required critical thinking on the design
of the code in terms of System Programming</li>
<li>Renders polygons in the world and applies textures accounting for perspective corrections.</li>
<li>Handles user input to get a first-person view over the world. The user can translate in the 3D space
and rotate along all 3 axis.</li>
<li>Vector math implemented from scratch</li>
</ul>
