haveged delay in entropy. Intermittent but frequent.

After starting haveged how much time should we wait before we can get success in getrandom(2)?

I'm starting haveged as part of a go init process but I've seen cases where I'm not able to generate random numbers even after two minutes from haveged start.
Other notes:
haveged version: 1.9.13
