I tried to installing xwavelet with pip by pointing to this repository, since it is a dependency for om4labs, but it is taking really long and for some reason downloading every single version of the dependency packages.

Is there a better way to install the package? In any case, it would be helpful if you could add a brief statement about installation to the README. (If you're not sure about the best way for other users to install it, I can look into it).
