A list of error messages and possible fixes

Failed to download ED files

Try disabling your anti-virus and make sure you're using the installer from either GitHub or the EnhancedDiscord website.

Unhandled Exception (InteropServices)

You probably need to update your .NET installation, which you can do .NET Framework 4.7.1.
If it's already up to date, make sure you don't have any Windows updates pending.

Fatal JavaScript Error / Could not find injection file

Do not run the installer from your Chrome downloads bar/page.
This will run it in your system32 directory, causing a mess of permissions and one of these 2 issues!

Although Fatal JavaScript Error isn't always caused by improper permissions/directory, opening it directly from Chrome will almost certainly result in issues. If you're running the installer as admin, try running it with normal permissions instead. To solve Fatal JavaScript Error (as Discord will no longer run), follow the advanced installation guide to fix any issues that the installer had (i.e. set the path to system32 or another location that doesn't have an EnhancedDiscord folder).
