Here's an idea, let's say we want to rebuild a bunch of dependent packages after a SOVERSION bump. On some packages I may not have write permission to push to the main distgit, so it would be nice if there was a config file that can be defined where we can define the fork where to push the updates instead. Technically this can be automated as well, but there might be additional stuff that could use such a per-project configuration/metadata

I like you thinking: I think having a fork command like fedpkg and more, would be a good idea.
