舉例來說
對於所有
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:YouTubers
下面所有的文章
若是某個維基百科有子類別
則保留在其子類別內
否則將其他語言沒有此類別的文章
添加上此類別

要注意有些文章可能同時存在多個子類別中的情況
例如
YouTubers by genre
YouTubers by nationality
