Problem when using system theme in KDE #20
Comments
Glad to see that you liked kawaii-player. |
I'm on KDE Neon (based Ubuntu 18.04.3), on pc laptop without external monitor. The strange thing is that when I set the system theme in the Kawaii options this morning, it was resolved by itself. So I would say that it is a false problem, but if others should have fixed proportions... |
It is good to see that problem has been resolved by changing the theme. |
I use the global kde theme, with the "system" voice in the Kawaii's options.

Can you mention which kawaii-player theme were you using earlier: dark or
default, and also name of global kde theme? I have not tested
kawaii-player with kde since quite some time, so will check it out. Getting
theme right across all kinds of desktops and platforms is difficult.

I checked with KDE, there seems to be some issue with the system theme when application window tries to maximize itself at the start. It expands beyond the screen width. Currently only solution is to double click on the titlebar or click on the maximize button to get the window in a proper maximized state. I'll look more into it later on. |
I love kawaii player, but on a 720p screen a good slice of the window remains cut off ... is it possible to have a little more flexible gui?
