Feature request: optional integration with AniList, Kitsu and MyAnimeList

As https://github.com/erengy/taiga isn't available for Linux, I'd like to have an alternative that is.

Kawaii Player could be that alternative.

That's a good suggestion, will try to check the feasibility of doing this when have some free time.
Currently kawaii-player, code-base is in bad shape.
Without refactoring it properly, adding new features is getting very difficult.
So not sure, when it will be picked up.

Alright. I would like to help out, but I haven't learned python so I cannot. I'm only somewhat experienced in c++ and python looks pretty alien to me.

Also, I don't know if there any trackers like those mentioned for non-anime media, it's not something that I've looked into.
