Advice on handling units

I notice the upower parser is stripping the units from the output, e.g. watts (w) vs. watts per hour (wh). Is there a way to include these? or another way to handle them? (text mode vs. data mode?); or is it something to be addressed in docs?

The units should be parsed into another field, like energy_unit or voltage_unit. Are those fields showing up for you?
