glad I'm not the only one.. I was coming here to report the same thing.. I'm guessing that fi compatibility may be tricky since it doesn't use RCS like non-fi accounts do. Hopefully it's fixable easily. |

Support for the new Google Fi version would be great. I'd much prefer to be able to make my phone calls and texts in this app rather than a browser tab. |

Go to Google Messages\resources\app Working fine after that for me. |
This also worked for me. I'm able to access my Messages, Calls, and Voicemail in Google Fi. |
another option is to use this, just works, https://github.com/OrangeDrangon/android-messages-desktop |
I also can verify that this program completely doesn't work for any Google Fi user (and it should be updated with warnings to reflect that.) Meantime, the "OrangeDrangon" app does work, but (probably a system-wide problem caused by Google's sloppiness and arrogance), often messages do not arrive until the phone is booted. Infuriating. |
When I attempt to sign into this app with the Google Fi method I'm presented with the following error message on the Google sign in form after inputting my email:
I suspect this is due to being packaged with an older version of Electron.
