Once you close the welcome tab, it appears to be impossible to get it back. It would be nice if (choose one):

It could not be closed
There was a button or something to open it again
It opened up again if all other tabs were closed

My Fork has a fix for this in it. I sent a pull request to PiPeep(whose fork it is based on for the Phonon fixes)
