verify domain with github

think we need to add a TXT record to the domain via ticketing to ensure the problem outlined does not happen.
will try it on my own domain first.

I have gone through this process twice now. Looks like the CNCF/LF people remove the TXT records after a while, for some reason… :/

I'll investigate, we can move the domain to Netlify so you can run the TXT records yourself as maintainers
