'pyfes' module- Installation and import error (two-pronged ways) #571

Hello, Killian.

  • Py version: 3.12.7
  • Anaconda prompt.

At first, I tried to install pyfes via conda install conda-forge::pyfes but that failed and prompted the issue, showed in the screenshot below:

Then, I deployed the method for the AVISO-based process.

  1. I minutely followed your instructions here. Keeping the yaml file in the same folder of ocean and tide, renaming, etc.
  2. Now the issue is triggered whenever I am trying to import 'pyfes and test if the same is working when importing pyfes from within the previously created environment of coastsat, it is not able to find the pyfes module.

I am little bit perplexed now and am looking forward to have a resolution. Thanks!

please try with the miniforge prompt from Mamba as explained in the README. Unfortunately, conda struggles with this combination of packages. Let us know how you go
