Access waypoint details when using "display track"

If I use the "display track" option, I can see my waypoints as gold stars, but I cannot read what each one represents.

I would like to be able to tap them to see the details in a pop-up; or alternatively they could be numbered, so I can remember the number and look at the list of waypoints for the corresponding details.

Another option would be to select a way pot fro the list and see it highlighted on the "display track" screen
