Is there an existing issue for this?

  • This is a bug in RetroArch frontend
  • I have searched the existing issues

Description

When you launch a game boy game via RetroArch Gambatte with On-Screen notifications enabled, the emulator's visuals freeze. I'm pretty sure the game is still running, as the audio still responds to my inputs but the visuals are completely frozen

Expected behavior

The emulator not to freeze

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Launch a gb/gbc game with gambatte on steam deck
  2. Make sure notifications are enabled
  3. The graphics freeze after a few seconds/minutes

1.20.0 (Git 864ad02)
