Why using v-model when building CustomInput always emit update:modelValue even when syncVModel is false

I'm building a CustomInput with these two:

  const { value, handleChange, handleBlur } = useField<string>(
      () => props.name,
      undefined,
      {
          syncVModel: false,
      }
  );

<input v-model="value">

usage:

<CustomInput @update:model-value="(value) => console.log(value)">

This does not happen when we bind value and update it manually with handleChange.
Am i misunderstand something?
