What is the useFieldModel API deprecation background?

I've noticed to useFieldModel API has deprecated on the docs.
So, What is a background to deprecation?

The reasons that lead to that are:

• API is extremely limited, you cannot modify validation triggers or add custom props
• A better-revised version of it and the defineXXXBinds API is in feat: introduce defineField and deprecate bind API #4497

A compat layer will exist for both APIs but marking them as deprecated will nudge devs to using the newer version of it.

So you are saying that in v4.12.0 or higher, it is better to use the defineField API than useFieldModel API right?
