Hg command not working with spaces

Steps to reproduce

• Create new repository
• Create new branch with a space in name (e.g. "test branch")
• Use lawrencium :Hg update to switch back to default
  :Hg update default
• Use lawrencium :Hg update to switch to the branch encapsulated in " "
  :Hg update "test branch" or
  :Hg update 'test branch' or
  :Hg update test branch

Expected behavior

Branch switched

Observed behavior

hg update: invalid arguments

Workaround

:!hg update "test branch" works
