I'm using the MPD Client on my XBMC System which is running on my Raspberry Pi. The problem is:
Whenever I try to add music files/folders to my playlist via the 'Artists' tab and try to open one artists folder by pressing 'enter' XBMC crashes. It displays a message saying "Relax, XBMC will restart shortly. Press ESC key for a command line". After a short time it restarts.
If any log files or something like that would help, please tell me.

Hi,

I've just got my own raspberry running raspbmc and I am experiencing same issues I'll investigate and hopefully fix that. Today is my first attempt to run MPD Client addon on XBMC Frodo 12

Hi, I haven't fixed it. Instead I've tried to develop next-generation version of mpd client, which is not a script, but audio plugin. If you download latest master as zip and unzip it to your addons, you'll see how it looks like. It's much more simple, and also solves issue with large databases.
